Asia Fruit Logistica is approaching fast, and the tradeshow promises to be the biggest yet. A global audience will gather for the two day event, with a large contingent from China, Australia and New Zealand. This increase reflects the importance of Asia for many exporters as it’s demand for safe quality produce continues to rise.
The show is a major focus for both Compac and TOMRA, as produce brands continue to invest in automated sorting solutions to protect and enhance their brands. Having both companies exhibiting together at booth 5-J28 means that attendees of the show know exactly where to go if they want to talk to the world leaders in sorting solutions. Together, we are the only supplier offering our customers both lane and bulk sorting solutions for fresh and processed food.
We are sending a large group of representatives this year in response to extra interest regarding Compac joining TOMRA and the amazing results Spectrim is providing customers.
Spectim's recent breakthrough in citrus grading, combined with the popularity of Citrus at show, is also sure to result in a high turnout. Spectrim’s ability to reduce cost-per-pack while increasing the consistently and quality of produce packs is vital for any packhouse, especially those accessing export markets. TOMRA will also be discussing their large range of food sorting and peeling equipment that is available for the fresh produce industry.
The show is a great opportunity to talk to key people from Compac and TOMRA about your packhouse and business needs. We have great representation from our executive team, including:
Compac CEO Mike Riley and Compac COO Even Rekdal, who are there to talk to current customers and about the future of our industry including the role our companies have to play in that.
Compac Product Marketing Manager Timothy Marshall, will be there to talk about our technology and the different commodity applications we offer.
Compac VP of Product & Marketing Perry Sansom will be there with his vast product and industry knowledge, and to talk about the importance of protecting brands.
Kiwifruit Center of Excellence expert Craig Hart, will be there to answer any specific questions about the rise in demand and consumption of kiwifruit in Asia.
Asia Sales Director Bob Shaw, with his sales team.
VP & GM of ANZ Neil Templeman, with his sales team.
Bringing a global team together for a show like this has huge benefits from a collaboration point of view. It brings together experts who understand fruit from the local market, and the experts that understand the specific requirements in the export market.
Although Asia is a key focus for Compac and TOMRA technology, the show is also a great opportunity for us to support our customers who are exhibiting too - so make sure you stop by and visit.
