The Produce Marketing Association (PMA) Fresh Summit is the premier fresh produce trade show in North America. The scale of the event is enormous with last month’s event attracting almost 20,000 people and more than 1000 exhibitors. TOMRA and Compac were positioned side-by-side to show how sorting solutions can protect and enhance our customers’ brands.
On October 20th at PMA Fresh Summit 2017, Compac will take the covers off its next version of software, Sizer 12, the software at the heart of its industry leading sorting and packline equipment.
Titan Farms is the largest peach grower on the east coast of the United States, with more than 5,000 acres of peaches in production. It is a fully integrated grower, packer and shipper of its fresh produce, shipping more than 150 million peaches annually.
Following a busy season of installations and upgrades to existing customer lines earlier in the year, the 2016 Pacific Northwest (PNW) cherry is now wrapped up. Talk about a good season – high quality product and the 3rd largest packout ever achieved.
